Israel vs Palestine - A intricate labyrinth of history, power and faith

If man is willing to resort to violence, even to the extent of unleashing terrorism on innocent revellers at a trance music festival amidst the deserts of Israel, all over a dispute concerning a mosque, then the very ethical frailties of religion itself need to be earnestly questioned. In a world where the boundaries between faith and fanaticism blur, we are left pondering a profound question. Could this surreal vision of a global showdown become a stark reality, or is it merely a mirage in the shifting sands of time? Only the future will unveil the ultimate destiny of mankind as it navigates the labyrinthine corridors of history, power, and faith.

Once again, planet earth finds itself teetering on the edge of war and chaos, this time the longstanding tensions between Israel and Palestine escalating, ensnared in the grip of religious ideological conflicts between world's biggest religions—Christianity and Islam. In the wake of the sudden attack by Hamas, hundreds of Israelis have been killed and some held captive by the Hamas militants, while thousands of Palestinians have died due to the retaliation from Israel.

Ideological mismatch, historical grievances and territorial disputes spanning ancient epochs of time, involving the Jehovah's redemption of Israel from its neighbouring enemies to the Persian and Ottoman Empire's dominion over this region and the British surge at a later time during the World War 1 and 2 , laid the foundation for the discord that would cause great distress in the middle east region over the years. As the curtain rises on this age-old narrative, the latest onslaught is considered the worst in history and has taken the tensions in the middle east to a new low.

Unearthing Prophetic Allusions

Religious factors seem to be the mainstay of the age-old conflict between Israel and Hamas. According to Hamas, the attack was provoked by recent events surrounding the Temple Mount, a site in Jerusalem holy to Jews and Muslims alike. In the past week , Israeli settlers have been entering the al-Aqsa Mosque atop the mount and praying, which Hamas termed “desecration ” in a statement on their offensive (which they’ve named Operation Al-Aqsa Storm).

The idea of an apocalyptic conflict between Muslims and Christians at the end of times is rooted in eschatological beliefs. In Islamic eschatology, there is a belief in the arrival of the Al Mahdi, a messianic figure, who will lead Muslims in a final battle against the forces of evil. Contrastingly, in Christian eschatological beliefs, there is the concept of an end-times conflict between the Anti-Christ (who will arrive from the depths of hell) and messiah who would appear from the sky to defeat the beast. The tensions between Palestine and Israel have been brewing over the years due to the confluence of these ideological conflicts within their region.

Some speculate that the divine story as woven in the Bible that will the warrior god Jehovah will once again unite the Jews of the world and redeem them from other pantheons or neighbouring gods, may be far from over. Perhaps these ancient gods, including Jehovah, are not mere relics of the past but rather celestial beings bound to reappear, to pass judgment, or to reshape the fate of humanity. In this enigmatic narrative, the interplay between ancient lore, religion, and the cosmic realms leaves us with tantalizing questions about the ultimate destiny of our world.

The Unfolding Drama: World War 3

The current tension between Israel and Palestine is in the risk of spilling to other regions with a latest onslaught from Hamas militants from Syria and Lebanon. These turbulent waters have been navigated by countless generations including the British forces, their histories interwoven with strife and discord, each chapter culminating in a crescendo of global wars.

In the current state of affairs, if Iran choses to interfere then we are looking at a coalition of Muslim countries in the middle east coming together against Israel.

Picture a world in which Russia & China, the behemoths of the East, join hands with the reborn Ottoman Empire in Turkey, and a coalition of Arab nations including Iran, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq, uniting against the dominant forces of the United States, Europe, and the ever-resilient state of Israel.

The Ukraine conflict has cast a shadow of uncertainty over the global order, Russia finds itself at a pivotal juncture on the global stage, with Western countries, bound by the NATO treaty, standing firmly in support of Ukraine. As Russia, under Putin, seeks to recalibrate the scales of power in its favour, try and safeguard its interests and extend its spheres of influence in Eurasia and middle east regions, the geopolitical landscape of the planet now stands at the precipice of a global showdown.

In this speculative tale, where geopolitical forces collide on an unprecedented scale and the destinies of nations and individuals teeter in the balance, religious ideologies emerge as a potent, and at times perilous, undercurrent. Once intended to be a foundation upon which civilizations were built, they now seem to be steering mankind towards a precipitous decline. As fervour and fervid belief systems intertwine with the struggle for power and influence, humanity faces a profound moral quandary.
