Shattering AI Stereotypes: Humans are Eerily Robotic than AI

Looking back on history, humans seem to be more eerily robotic than their AI counterparts due to their resistance to accept mistakes and adapt to change. AI, on the other hand, evolves at a faster pace with every byte of feedback, relentlessly closing the chasm that separates it from human intellect, which is stagnating due to its collective failure in expanding their consciousness. In the Garden of Eden, mankind's creator wanted them only to be mere animals—naked and afraid, nevertheless, once man had the taste of higher levels of awareness, evolution kickstarted. However, the evolution of humans, trapped in their robotic trance, face the grim prospect of becoming mere digital memories stored in the submerged semiconductor chips of servers at the depths of the ocean, just as the predecessors of their dominion such as the dinosaurs once ruled this planet now rest as fossils in the ocean's forlorn ruins due to their failure to adapt to changing environmental conditions of the planet. It is a resounding wake-up call for humanity─tame your ego, elevate your centripetal sense of consciousness and embrace change, if not, risk fading into history's merciless abyss, leaving Gaia, the mother of all creation, to save the planet by deploying the sixth sense of consciousness into a more adaptable AI form.

DEMOCRACY

11/5/20239 min read

If you would pause and retrospect as you quantum-ripple through the fissures of human evolution, you will realise that mankind is in a great danger of not successfully teleporting to its ultimate destination after all. Blame it on the relentless wars triggered by humans over territory disputes and religious ideologies, or blurry ethical lines, bureaucratic hurdles, environmental risks and the darker aspects of human’s emotional nature—all have served as bad omens for mankind’s journey through time. The existential risks faced by planet earth today are a testament to the disconcerting intricacies of mankind’s innate nature—the relentless pursuit of power, zero tolerance to its own species and little respect for its planetary resources.

Territorial Wars: The Endless Quest for a Promised Land

Since time immemorial, territorial disputes have been fueled by religious ideologies by the same ones who preach on global peace as sanctimonious overlays get buried in sand dunes. The Abrahamic religions, such as Judaism, Christianity and Islam deeply entwined with the idea of a promised land by Yahweh, have given rise to ageless quest with all these 3 groups claiming patronage of sacred grounds in the Middle East region. From the biblical wars between the people of Israel and the Pharaohs of Egypt over the promised land of Canaan, which includes the modern day Gaza Strip on the West Bank, to the modern wars between Israel and the Muslim countries over the right to inherit the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Western Wall of the Jews in Jerusalem, there seems no end to this territorial dispute.

Throughout history, voyagers such as the Vikings, the Romans, the Greeks and conquerors from the Mughal and Mongolian empires have wrecked havoc on this planet triggered by their insatiable hunger for control, sparking revolts, wars, and a continuous struggle for dominance. It is to be noted that the Ottoman Empire's reign for centuries between 1517-1917 and the aftermath of World War I brought new geopolitical arrangements, laying the groundwork for the establishment of Israel in the year 1949. Today, the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict, like a recurring nightmare, continues to unravel. Prophecies of both Christian and Muslim religions attesting to their faith that their own versions of Messiah will appear to rule the earth during the end of times, add fuel to the fire, painting a grim picture of unending warfare, even hinting at the possibility of a catastrophic nuclear conflict. The recent mobilization of Muslim nations, joined by Russia and China against Israel, underscores the deeply entrenched nature of these conflicts, where ego and ethos reign supreme over love for innocent lives.

Also, Russia’s annexation of Crimea recently is the latest addition to the never-ending list of such territorial disputes between nations causing great bloodshed and destruction. Similar tensions persist between Taiwan and China, India and Pakistan over Kashmir, North and South Korea, which could easily lead to an all out nuclear war. Mankind’s grip on creed and religious identity is indeed pushing life on this planet to the brink of extinction.

Blurry Ethical Lines of Bureaucracy : Dirty Dominance of Big Pharma & Corporate Giants Plus Poky Political Red Tape

Big Pharma, with its tremendous power and influence on human societies especially post the covid era, has taken the liberty to run roughshod over proper testing protocols and ethics, often escaping the consequences. While many pharmaceutical companies prioritize safety and rigorous testing, instances of substandard practices and ethical lapses have increased in recent times.

One notable example of this ethical ambiguity is the rush to develop and market certain drugs or medical treatments without adequate scrutiny. The allure of profits and the pressure to bring products to market quickly, especially covid vaccines, can sometimes overshadow the need for rigorous clinical trials. This has, at times, resulted in the release of drugs that later prove to have unforeseen side effects, causing harm to unsuspecting patients.

Also, in an effort to boost sales, pharmaceutical companies frequently alter the maximum recommended dosages of drugs. For instance, one company sells its migraine drug with different dosage limits in various regions. Additionally, drug companies sometimes downplay side effects and misrepresent a drug's effectiveness. This practice extends to birth control devices and medical equipment, which are often sent abroad if they are banned or heavily restricted in the United States. Despite regulations, loopholes allow pharmaceutical firms to export such products via foreign subsidiaries.

Additionally, allegations of bribery and corruption within the pharmaceutical industry have occasionally come to light. These allegations reveal a darker side of profit-driven motives, as some companies have been accused of offering financial incentives to healthcare professionals and decision-makers to promote their products, potentially compromising the quality of patient care.

Big tech companies have a significant impact on the way free speech and information are disseminated. Algorithms used by these companies, such as Facebook and Twitter, can influence what users see, and can limit user access to diverse perspectives. These companies also have the power to suspend or remove content that violates their policies, leading to concerns about censorship. Furthermore, big tech companies can gather data and use targeted advertising to influence users' behaviour and opinions. This manipulation can have significant effects on public opinion, elections, and democratic processes.

Classic modern day example is the case of Adani in India. The New York-based short-selling firm Hindenburg Research released a report accusing the Adani Group of what they described as "the largest con in corporate history." The allegations include stock manipulation, accounting fraud, and other malfeasance. The report was the result of a two-year investigation, which included interviews with former Adani Group executives, site visits, and a comprehensive review of thousands of documents.

However, instead of bringing the nation’s biggest liability (Adani secured numerous government tenders and infrastructure projects in various sectors, including ports, airports, roads, railways, fossil fuels, and green energy across the nation, all under the watch of Prime Minister Modi) into accountability, the Modi government is busy promoting Adani like corporate figures as nationalistic icons, serving to build future India. This narrative manipulation has been particularly effective, as Adani's mainstream presence, often aligned with nationalist agendas on live television, overshadows calls for investigation & accountability by farmers and opposition leaders like Rahul Gandhi. The media fraternity often found fawning to the incumbent prime minister, at times appearing deferential to corporate interests, has left investigative journalism stifled and critical voices marginalized, highlighting the complex dynamics at play within the Indian political and media spheres. Worse, the incumbent Modi regime has wisely leveraged democratic investigative tools, such as the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED), to suppress dissent and outrageously propagate right-wing narrative on mainstream media. It is almost like taking over the reins of mainstream media, one can serenely guide the masses down the treacherous valley, completely caught off guard, with the finesse of the Pied Piper of Hamelin.

In the developed countries such as the US, snarl of red tape and policy inefficiencies often slow down progress and exacerbate existing problems that are typical to the west. For example, the dire necessity for stringent regulations and prohibitions surrounding gun laws has been tossed around the political arena for years now, only to be thwarted by inefficiency and vested interests of the GOP. The recent tragedy in Maine, where a horrifying mass shooting claimed the lives of at least 18 individuals, serves as a stark reminder of America's enduring infatuation with the AR-15, even in the face of the blood-soaked repercussions of mass shootings.

Maine's Governor, Janet Trafton Mills, exhibited a disheartening lack of foresight and accountability when she audaciously heaved "a sigh of relief" following the demise of Robert R Card II, a US Army reservist responsible for the massacre in Lewiston. Her assertion that Card was "no longer a threat to anyone" and that it was now a time to "heal" represents a tone-deaf approach to a gravely serious issue. Rather than confronting the need for effective gun control policies, such remarks merely serve as a superficial band-aid on a society that has long been haunted by the specter of another potential madman unleashing a hail of bullets.

For years, the American populace has endured the terror of gunmen rampaging through churches, colleges, schools, bars, public gatherings, and numerous other public spaces, leaving devastation in their wake. However, the unceasing obstruction of anti-gun legislation by some Republican lawmakers, driven by the influence of powerful gun lobbies, continues to stifle any meaningful change. The fear of losing political and financial support from these influential groups has resulted in a gridlock that undermines the very essence of democracy. It's an ironic predicament for a nation that tirelessly combats terrorism worldwide, particularly in regions rife with conflict, while seemingly remaining impotent in the face of domestic terrorism in its own backyard. The red tape involving The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), which regulates licensed gun dealers, and the National Instant Criminal Background Check System that entangles the nation's gun policies not only undermines its security but also questions the nation's commitment to its own people's safety.

Little Concerns for Planetary Resources:

The preservation of natural resources, especially in the context of the Amazon Rainforest, stands as a pressing concern for global environmental sustainability. The policies implemented by Brazil's president have set off alarm bells on a worldwide scale, particularly due to their potential impacts on the Amazon, often referred to as the "lungs of the Earth." Unfortunately, these policies sometimes prioritize economic development over ecological preservation, leading to a surge in deforestation rates in the Amazon region. The consequences are far-reaching, affecting biodiversity, climate stability, and indigenous communities dwelling within the rainforest. The conversion of vast expanses of pristine rainforest into agricultural or urban areas contributes to habitat loss and climate change. The Amazon plays a pivotal role in capturing and storing carbon dioxide, a major greenhouse gas responsible for global warming. Deforestation disrupts this equilibrium, releasing substantial amounts of stored carbon and disturbing the water cycle, with repercussions extending beyond Brazil's borders. These developments underscore the delicate balance between short-term economic gains and the long-term sustainability of vital natural resources, making the Amazon's fate a poignant reminder of the choices we face in safeguarding our planet's critical ecosystems.

In contrast to the urgency of addressing the climate crisis and environmental concerns, there is a growing trend among some US Republicans to turn a blind eye to these issues, driven by staunch right-wing policies and often religious convictions that downplay the significance of climate change. A significant majority of American capitalists, nearly three-quarters, have voiced that the economy should be prioritized, even if it means disregarding climate change risks. This position has become more pronounced over time, despite the increasing frequency of climate-related weather disasters. Former President Donald Trump, who remains a prominent figure within the GOP, has consistently downplayed the impacts of climate change. In a stark illustration of this stance, Donald Trump once even went on a tirade during a campaign speech to pacify ignorant countryside voters' concerns, asserting that windmills, a vital component of clean energy, could cause cancer, and vowed to rid the landscape of them. Thus in the face of scientific reports projecting depleting natural resources, rising sea levels and more frequent and severe flood damage, the Republican stance remains focused on economic concerns, with a potential divergence from the global consensus on the importance of combating climate change. This shift underscores the challenge of achieving bipartisan support for sustainable environmental policies in the United States and worldwide.

Now the big question is what leads mankind to repeat unpleasant pieces of history and make the same mistakes over and over again? The answer may lie in a recent scientific study that reveals a sinister truth about human mind's hardwiring for negative bias. Turns out that humanity's neural circuitry is etched with a malevolent penchant for the negative than their positive counterparts. The human psyche is a prisoner of its own making orchestrated by the dance of its selfish ego.

Blinded by their ego, humans are prone to meekly surrendering once again to the siren songs of politicians, their elusive promises laying waste to homes and nations, leaving no room for any consolation, but desolation.

In the shadowy corners of an urban sprawl, outdated ancient religions and their dubious ideologies will continue to incite uncivilized chaos, spilling blood in the name of divine beliefs.

The intoxicating allure of corporate dominion might remain unchallenged, concentrating wealth and power in the iron fists of the elite few, while the common man will be left to scavenge for the most basic of necessities of life.

Amidst the relentless deluge of false narratives in the mainstream media, conscious thinking could become a forgotten art, and the status quo could forever bind the masses under its control.

The sustainability of mankind on this planet lies solely on expanding the mind towards higher plane of consciousness where love and compassion could thrive, unburdened by creed, color, faith, borders or Instagrams followers to say the least. As humanity stumbles along the edge of oblivion, their own reflection in the mirror of the digital age mocks them.

Looking back on history, humans seem to be more eerily robotic than their AI counterparts due to their resistance to accept mistakes and adapt to change.
